Born in the picturesque Pahalgam Valley in Kashmir, Ridwana’s early life was idyllic, shaped by her traditional Kashmiri Muslim family. However, her world changed when her family moved to Jammu due to the unrest in Kashmir. Despite these challenges, Ridwana’s determination shone through. She vividly recalls her tenth-grade board exams in Kulgam south Kashmir, taken amidst turmoil (militancy) with gratitude for the shelter provided by a generous professor who was a family friend.
Now, Dr. Ridwana Sanam stands as a beacon of inspiration for thousands of women, particularly in Kashmir. Her journey from a young girl facing adversity to becoming a celebrated philanthropist and women’s empowerment advocate is remarkable. She recounts an experience with a young woman who lost her call centre job due to facial paralysis. Moved by her plight and inability to afford treatment, after complete recovery she decided to write her first book on Physio Tips ( How to write off your pain). Ridwana’s compassion led to her dedicating her career to helping others achieve financial independence and secure employment in healthcare industry.
Through her KRV Foundation, Dr. Ridwana has made significant strides in skill development and job creation for underprivileged girls. Her tireless efforts have enabled countless women to lead dignified, independent lives, embodying the power of compassion, dedication, and vision in driving social change.
An avid horse rider, golfer, basketball player, swimmer, guitarist, and kathak dancer, Dr. Ridwana was honored many times internationally and nationally as the best physiotherapist and women of substance. She has prevented over 55,000 surgeries related to knee osteoarthritis, ACL sports injuries, and Slip Disc injuries. As an experienced social entrepreneur and physiotherapist, she combines technical expertise with spiritual Healing (quantum Healing techniques)
She plans to extend her reach across the country with the help of technology ( video Consultation) Her Diagnosis Accuracy is 99/ with some Spritual Gift, knowledge, skilled expediences, having honed her skills in Japan, Singapore, and the UK. Excited about working with sports personalities, corporate clients, and Bollywood celebrities, she continues to push the boundaries of her field.
